HOMEBOUND MINISTRY
The goal of the homebound ministry is to make every homebound person continue to feel he or she is a vibrant part of their church and its ministry. Two of the best ways are through the tape/DVD ministry and the ministry of the Sunday school.
If you know of a person who is not able to attend church, who may be new in town or not affiliated with a local church, and who may need to be involved with our homebound ministry, please contact the church office. Give their names and other details to enable us to contact them and include them in our ministry. Each of our Sunday services are available via cassette tape, cd, or dvd.
Baptist Men's Help Ministry Baptist Men under the leadership of John Black and Darrell Robinson have organized a help ministry. This is a ministry to assist any one who needs things around their house done. It is especially for people who are unable to do things because of age or health. Baptist men are willing to do things such as change light bulbs, make small repairs, cut down a tree or shrub, etc. If you have a need for assistance, please contact one of our Baptist men. For additional information on the ministry of the men see Men's Ministry web page.

Baldwin Baptist Builders Five men from First Baptist Church joined members of Baldwin Baptist Builders, the Baldwin Baptist Association's building ministry, for a work trip to Chalmette, LA. in November. This area was flooded as a result of the levee failure after the Hurricane Katrina landfall.
The men divided into two teams and worked to install electrical conduit that will serve the First Baptist Church of Chalmette's Sanctuary.
The men from First Baptist Church were Mack Duck, Clayton Harvill, Arden Jenkins, Don Robinson, and Johnny Taylor. There will be other opportunities to be a part of this ongoing project to help rebuild this community and restore hope to fellow Christians. Watch for the announcements.
